Coolant Pouring out HELP

my car has been running hot lately and today i was on the highway in traffic when my car started red-lining, so i pulled off the exit that was right next to me and i pulled over to the side of the road, as soon as i shut my car off and got out, coolant started leaking out from the bottem of the radiator at a steady pace and then it started pouring out faster until it was empty (im guessing it was empty because there was A LOT of coolant on the gound under my car) could this just be a result of my car overheating? or could it be a tank in the radiator? it looked like it was coming out more toward the passanger side of the car...any help would be great, thanks guys
Ryan

Think you need a new radiator. Any parts store should have one for your car.

Not to make you sound like a retard but I always check the easiest stuff first. Did you make sure that the drain **** was closed all the way. I have had that come loose and leak little by little. Also check all the hoses, if everything is tight and closed then you might have a real problem. You got to find out where it is leaking from to figure out what you need to do to fix it.

Not to make you sound like a retard but i stated in the original post that it was coming from the radiator, meaning most-likely one of the tanks "you have to find out where the leak is coming from in order to fix it" no sh*t buddy, thanks
