IROC fan motor same as SATURN?

my friend changed one of the fan motors on my car last year. Then last week he had to change the fan motor on his SATURN.

He called me up and said HE THINKS THE SATURN FAN IS THE SAME AS MY 1989 iroc 5.0! BUT COST HALF as much when he bought it as a SATURN fan at the same checkers.

CAN SOMEONE CHECK IF THE FAN MOTORS ARE SAME.. IF TRUE. i might ask for a saturn fan next time( i might change my other fan) i need one.

depends on the saturn.. and if it was the same motor then it would have the same part #. it might be simular but if the price difference is half the something is differen't.. non OE manufactureres who make OE replacement parts are not gonna charge more for a fan motor that fits a corvette than for a fan motor that fits a metro. and the reason behind that is because that fan motor that fits the vette probably also fits quite a few other cars.. give me the year and model of the saturn and ill tell u the differences.
