Stainless coolant hose ideas needed . . .
I am thinking about fitting stainless hoses and fittings into my car. I don't want to do the stainless 'look' with the braided covers over regular hose, I want the real thing. But I have a few hangups in my ideas - mainly, how do I attach the stainless hose to the existing fittings ment for rubber hose and hose clamps? I.E., the thermostat housing on the manifold, the heater box in/out pipes, etc? I was thinking about the hardline to hose adapters for the heater box, since those tubes are rather thin and I can flare or bead them as needed. But what about the radiator (plastic), and the thermostat neck, which is thicker? I also have the plastic redirect valve to cut hot coolant out of the heater box with the A/C on. Thanks in advance.
