Best way to cool off plenum

Last time i was at the track, i touched the plenum and i think it took off about 200 layers of skin... you could cook a very small pizza on this thing... and my times showed it... what is the best way to cool it off? I know, bag of ice.. but the track gets mad when you get ice on the track... is there something else anyone has tried to cool off the plenum? Liquid Nitrogen pumped around the plenum? hehehe thanks guys.

anyone? I saw this Cryo2 stuff in PHR yesterday. They said you can inject it in to the air tube? but then i realized... CO2? Carbon Dioxide? i know its cold.. but.. if my chemestry and all my hs and college sciences serve me right, CO2 would choke the engine because of the low oxygen content?

well its about 220 at the track, put i had polished my plenum, which traps heat better then stock. I really wana know if i could cool off the plenum faster then the engine. Oh well, i guess a bag of ice will have to do it. Also, im still searchin for my relays to make the fans turn on.... now which fan is the primary fan, and which fan is the secondary? like wich side?

well primary fan is drivers side, and aux. fan is passengers side.

my relays were located on my drivers side firwall next to the brake booster. there was a set of three relays, the middle one was the secondary (passengers fan) and the last one to the right of the pass. relay was my drivers side.

you could use a plastic plenum.... yes someone makes them.. but with all my years on 3rdgen boards, i only know of one.

nitrous cools off your intake....... someone once told me it helps with power or somthing too...

OR... you can do the throttle body bypass mod to keep the coolant out of your TB. That makes a huge difference. Even on hot days (105*) and car getting to a temp of about 200*, I can touch my plenum, and its only warm. Look in the tech articles, the info is there.
