Metal plug in plastic tanks?
Real quick, I broke the plastic drain plug in my factory plastic tank last night. It was about 11 PM so there was no way I was going to get a replacement, so I found a metal bolt with the same thread pitch and was off to 7-11 to get some good clean water to refill the radiator with.
Anybody have a worse case scenerio for me on this? I'm sure it's not the ideal situation or that's how GM would have put it together (too much credit to GM?!), but I'm just wondering what everybody's thoughts are on this.

As long as your positve it's the same thread...there shouldnt be a problem..plastic is cheaper, otherwise you'd be geting milk in pails..just check to make sure it dosnt leak, or tearing anything up, cause the metal threads rubing agianst the plastic that could tear it up..just check that every now and then and you should ok..
