To what end???
To what end???
OK, so cooler is better, but only to a certain extent.... What is that extent??? My car is decently quick when i first get in it in the morning and go, but as soon as it reaches full temp (220* or so) it becomes a 3600lb slug. What's the best way to minimize this power loss??? As with my other posts I'm looking for answers from experience, not what SHOULD work... Thanx guys!

Most of what you feel is engine response. When the engine is cold it's being fed extra fuel--give the engine a certain quickness that you can feel. Your not making any more power than you would at say 190 at WOT. You shouldn't be WOT anyway until the engine is warmed up. I would first try to get the engine down closer to the thermostat temp--195. If it helps, maybe try 180. If you aren't feeding the engine cold air, try that too. Mine seems to like the 180 stat. I've used a 160,170,180,195. But my engine combination is quite a bit different.
If you want to eliminate power loss from heat, decrease the temp.

yeah i am very happy with the temps i am getting with my 180 stat. i dropped the normal operating temp from like 220 to roughly 190. so it takes longer to get warm in traffic so i have more lee way before my drivers side fan comes on.
