Can I use a 91 firebird radiator in my 85 TA? If they're totally different I'll keep looking, but if I can use a free one I will

 

Should be the same, you don't mention whether it's an auto trans or not. Just look to see whether its got the trans cooler fittings in the right place otherwise it should fit right in. More infor always helps. Quick tip, try www.acdelco.com when crossing over parts. If the parts sub over to the same number it's a go. They also give you pictures of the common parts.

 

you know, i didn't even ask the guy if it's auto or manual...it's his parts car, and i know his other one is auto, so i assumed. hmm, i'll check. thanks for the advice.
