LT1 runs always runs cold, HELP!!!
i swapped in a 95 LT1. since the swap, it has seemed to run cold. now that i need the heater, this is true. i can drive it for long periods of time and it doesnt seem to heat up enough. the fan seems to come on way early. i replaced all the fan switches and all the sending units, and even the thermostat. what else can i do?

Maybe install an adjustable fan switch?
Did you hook the heater valve back up? It's a little black box on the passenger side of the engine compartment with 2 heater hoses running out of it. One comes from the radiator, the other goes into the heater core. If that's not hooked up, or hooked up right, the heater core has no way to recieve antifreeze. Also make sure you have the vaccuum line from the heater controls in the car hooked up to the valve, so it can open and close.
Here's a pic

i put what ever the parts stor (napa) called for in a 95 LT1. i did hook up the control valve, yes. 1 fitting goes to the radiator, 1 to the firewall, and 1 to the water pump. is this right?
I'm not sure on the newer ones, mine only has 2 hoses. I just read that it does make a difference what order the hoses are hooked up on the heater valve. Once the car is warmed up, turn the heater control on full hot and then feel the heater hoses as they go into the heater core. If they are hot, it's getting antifreeze and that's not the problem.
Good luck
