Puddle of Water

I had dont the valve cover gaskets on my 83 camaro, and when i was taking the heater core hoses off, I broke it, so i replaced the heater core, cleaned up the mess, and put a new matt down. Now every time I lift up the matt there is water under it, not engine coolant but water, but it cant be coming from the heater core because:
A) it would be dripping on to the matt, and its not running behind the rug, because I took the heater core cover off again and theres no coolant leaking.
B) Its water and if it were coming from the heater core it would be coolant.
I cant figure it out because it cant be any kind of leak from the t-tops either because it would be dripping on to the matt not under it, If anyone knows what this is pleas tell me.
