Factory dual fans with no AC questions.
I don't know of any cars without ac having dual fans from the factory. Are there any changes to the wiring I need to do since I'm removing the AC setup? Wiring is original ac wiring but with custom prom. Adding the dual fans, it had single fan. Can I go by the directions on the other posts for adding duals or do I need to do anything special?
Also, since I'll be running a custom prom, should I still get an aftermarket fan switch? If so, does gm offer one or do I have to buy one from hypertech?
Would a 170 degree thermostat work best for my setup? It's a 500 horse 383 efi with a 6 speed. All emissions removed. Strictly a toy not a driver. Comfort is of no concern as long as I can get heat on a mild evening when cruizin' around looking for a race and defog the windows if they steam up.

for the passengers side fan just hook up a relay like in a stock dual fan setup.
i think there are some corvette fan switched that have lower turn on / off temps than stock thirdgens.
try running some searches for that and see what u get.
a 170 stat should be good enough to have enought heat to keep the windows clears.
the ecm prom u can set the turn on turn off temps of the drivers side fan. so u could make each fan separate from each other with different turn on temps.
