doesn't warm up

The car is a 91 Camaro six cyl. It doesn't warm up. You can run the car for an hour and it might get up to 140*. They just put in a new thermostat and that didn't help. Any ideas?

What type of fan?

Sometimes engines with bad misfires have trouble warming up.

Are you going by what the guage says? a thermometer? or how warm the heater air feels?

Hmm maybe try the old cardboard over part of the grille method. Cause man it's cold here in IL you guys probably seeing pretty low temps.

I'd pull the "new" thermostat out and test it... Wouldn't be the first time to get a bad one out of the box...
