Be Cool Radiators

My question is, do I need those 72001 fittings for the trans cooler lines when I have a B&M Racing trans cooler already hooked up? Summit recommends at get 2 of the fittings for an automatic car.
Also, anyone here have one of these radiators? How did they like them? Things I should know before installing one of these? Thanks.

If you already have a seperate trans cooler buy the radiater for a manual trans car its cheaper you dont need the automatic rad with the built in trans cooler.

i think the be cool is much money for a radiator. i was involved in a convo in another board about them and the griffen. after seeing pictures and reading what people said, ive decided to take out the new stocker i bought and go for the summit. its cheaper and i think its looks awesome. its also tall as hell

So you guys suggest the griffin radiator instead of the Be Cool? What is the pn for the griffin for a 91 firebird and where do I acquire one? Thanks

Just so you guys know, those "custom fit" radiators don't fit for ****. My brother had one (I can't remember what brand) and he couldn't use the stock upper mount in his IROC. He ended up having to use zip ties. You'd be much better off getting a Summit one (or any of the universal fit ones) that has as close to the right dimensions as possible and spending a little money fitting it up, instead of the $500 for the "custom fit" and then another $100 or so to make it fit right. Good Luck.

31x19 ones fit the camaro and firebirds. the summit one sits high but will fit in with some bracket bending. i think im going with the griffen since its only 10 bucks more then the summit and also sits lower

I purchased the be cool, and it looks like it is going to fit with little to no problem. Fabbing up the SPAL fans may be the issue
And I did get the one for auto trans 82-92 camaros
