who doesn't have a heater core?

I'm tearing down the TA right now, it doesn't/won't have heat or AC, so I figured I might as well loose the heater core (no point to having it

just wondering if this is a good idea or not

Vic

PS this isn't a 'daily driver,' it probably won't even have windshield wipers

Just pull it all out not a problem! I would get a small electric heater to throw on the dash though, for defrosting when it is wet out

Go for it

You can smooth the firewall after you get all that crap out of there too.

I'm contemplating doing the same thing to my car, but it usually doesn't get parked until late october/early november. I see that you're from Illinois too, you know how the winters out here get

That MSD box is 1986 vintage, back then you couldn't get the rev limiter in the box itself you had to buy the separate module. The RPM dial I put on last year because my pills kept disappearing (darn little critters would grow legs then walk away at the shows imagine that)

extremely nice setup. very professional and not some half a$$ job. I would like to do something like that to my firewall but it would be just to much work to keep it clean. I pretty much only drive my car MAYBE 2 months out of the year and pretty much to shows and maybe a cruise here or there and it is hard enough keeping my engine bay clean. I wonder if the spectators that go to shows really understand just how much work really goes into keeping an engine especally like yours clean or the rerst of the car for that matter. it can take me 2 full days to really get my car nice and clean for a show but after the show the entire car it seems is always covered in a layer of dust.
