Going to buy a trans cooler

I got a 50$ gift certificate form summit...

so what cooler should i get? what are the best?

what does the numbers mean? how big should it be? quick connect?

i want to mount it infront of the radiator and bypass the radiator completly... what do you guys think?

biggest you can get.


B&M super cooler.


you dont need quick connects.. its not like you're taking it on and off alot.


you should keep the radiator one and run the cooler in series with it.

why run it in a series with the radiator?

i would think that the radiator would make it hotter then it normally would be,,,

Run it through the radiator first so it gets cooled that way, then through the cooler, it gets cooled again.

I was looking at a dual circuit unit from Perma-Cool and putting a Oil Cooler in it.

i got a TCI trans cooler and am happy with it. i recommend it to others as well.
