cooling/fan help

I just took my car out of storage for the year. I was leting my car burn off all the old gas in my driveway for about 1/2 hour to 45 mins. I go over to the car and the coolant is starting to boil, again. (I've been haveing this problem on and off ever since I've owned the car) Sometimes it would overheat while driving too, but not all the time.

I have removed all my AC stuff along with the heater box. Replaed the coolant temp sensor on the intake. Flush the antifreeze once a year. Replaced the fan fuse. The Fan motor is good and does work.

The only things I have not done is the water pump, the diverter valve thingy, fan switch in the head, and the fan relay.
I am in the process of trying to figure all of this out. If anyone has suggestions post them up for me. Otherwise I will just give updates and results.......:werd:

I just took some pics. I have done searches but found no pics of the fan switch relay. Is this the Fan Switch Relay???? I have read a few post saying that it is in the corner where the firewall and fender meet and it has 4 (four wires coming out of it).

This is the fan temp. switch, also I found no pics of this in my search. In the head on the passenger side next to the spark plugs with 1 (one) wire coming out of it...

Upon further investigation on my cooling troubles I noticed that the fan temp switch has been spliced into. VERY VERY VERY poorly. Kinda looks like someone tried to make a manual turn on/off before. They only used electrical tape to make the splices. GHETTO (that would also explain why there is an on/off switch on my dash...

I am still not sure if this IS the problem but I am guessing it is related...
