problem, taking out ac

Car: 1987 Pontiac Firebird
Engine: 350 sbc
Transmission: T-56
problem, taking out ac

a little while ago i took out my engine but left the power steering pump. and just lately ive been wanting to take out my ac to make more room for the new engine when i noticed that the power steering pump has two hoses going to the ac. whats up with this? how do i go about taking out my ac now? take out the p/s and buy a new one or what? please help

Are you refering to the cooler for the PS fluid? Two lines that lead to to front of the radiator? These are not attached to the AC in anyway. Nor can I think of any situation where the PS would be connected to the AC. Take a closer look, they are just close together, but not connected.
