Is it possible...I just read the thread where it said it's not good to run the fans all the time. When I did the 350 swap the fans where wired to "key on" power so they always run.

With everything from the TPI disconnected is there anyway to get the fans to work like they did from the factory? Should I run a remote switch so I can just turn them on once the engine warms up....once the engine gets up to ful operating temperature do they always run?

What I basically did was run an electric fan, controlled from the
"foglight" switch, since I have no foglights anymore.
When I turn my car on(cold start only) I wait for the temp to get as high as about 140-150, then flip the switch. When I turn the car off, turn the fan off also.

It would be alot easier to get a relay that way it would come on at ideal temperatures, like the original.Just a suggestion,DUECE

Bowtie...well my only question was....the stock relay setup, did it simply wait until the engine hit the desired temperature and turn on and stay on or did it constantly shut on and off, on and off tp regulate the temperature.

I think I read somewhere the temperture control ran off the ECM...which I no longer have in use.

Spal carry's a kit that will do what you want. I don't think it works with the ECM in any way, but you should call Spal to make sure. The kit includes a wiring harness, fuse link, relay, and thermostat switch for different temps (180/195/etc). Its like $50.
