becool and fitting problem?

becool and fitting problem?

can't figure out what brass fitting i need for this section. i have been everywhere looking for a fitting that has a barbed end for the stock heater hose with no luck.

those with a becool what did you use?

I dont have becool and the pic is somewhat blurry but it looks like a 3/4" fitting for that opening. You can get those at ace hardware or at some auto parts stores. I dont think it has to be barbed. I got mine at a radiator shop though. It wasnt barbed.

well it measures at 3/4" id but it definately isn't that, a very decieving setup....anyhow finally fixed it after searching and calling over 30 stores. definately a good waste of time....

appreciate all the help, no it wasn't tapered. just an odd size as most fittings are setup differently.
