Radiator fan problem. HELP!!!

My fan is being strange. When the car is running, the fan will turn on at the tempurature it is suposed to, but it will not turn off again. I also have a manual fan switch. The switch will turn the fan on, but it wont turn off again. I have wiried in everything like Willie's tech artical said, everything worked fine for a while and all of a sudden started to do this. Is there some kind of connection in the new wiring that could have gone bad and caused this problem? One more thing.... If the car is not running and the key is turned to acessories, the manual switch works perfectly. it will turn it on and off.

could a bad ground to the fan relay cause this? How about grim in the connector that goes into the relay? Bad splices in the wiring for ******* fan control system?

If nobody can help me, can sombody let me know how I can take the ecm out of the loop in the fan until i can figure this out and I can simply do it manually?
