83-z with crazy cooling issues

well to start with..... i have a 1983, z28 camaro, 5-speed.
never once had a cooling issue till now.

i have a 1986 trans-am also im parting out, the camaro had a stock clutch fan, and stock single core radiator. so i got the bright idea to swap the electric fan, and the double core aluminum radiator. as i was working on clutch adjustment, i told a friend of mine to start pulling out the fan and radiator from the trans-am and i would take over soon as i got the clutch adjusted in the camaro. well the dumba$$ just cut the fan wires off.

my question is what wire is hot, and what one is ground. if you hook it up one way it blows tward the radiator, and if you hook it up the other way it draws back tward the motor

You want it to pull air "in" towards the motor thru the rad. Do not have it blowing air into the rad.
