fan relay location. where the f*#K is it ?

fan relay location. where the f*#K is it ?

just swapped a tpi 305 from an 86 z28 into my 89 formula. i had the wiring harness converted for the tpi and i connected the fan and there is a connection for the relay, but i cant find the relay. do any of you guys know. ( a few people told me it was in the fender but its not there.

On the Camaro the primary fan's relay is on the passenger side of the vehicle, on the radiator support.

If it's in a similar location on your Formula, it will be between the passenger side headlight and the verticle frame that goes up the side of the radiator. In the engine compartment.

They're kinda hard to see, because the cable/connector come up from the bottom. If there's nothing connected to the relay you would only see the relay case, not the connecting pins.

The one on the fender, at least on the Camaros, is used for the secondary fan. It would also be on the passenger side, just in front of the radiator overflow reservoir.
