Edelbrock water pump???
Well i am about to buy a edelbrock high flow water pump, and wanted to ask a couple of questions about it. Well edelbrock says that it will help flow my engime 30% more than stock,Is this true?
Also will this in any way help me loss some weight or gain a little bit of horse power? Is buying an edelbrock water pump a good invesment?, or is there any other company that is better than edelbrock?
I am about to change my manifold and cam so will want to do it at the same time. I have a 305 tbi, just in case it will help answer my questions. -Eric

Excellant pump. Good investment. Have had mine on the car for about 6 years now. Zero problems and car does run cooler.

It may flow 30% more than stock, but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll run any cooler. An aluminum waterpump is somewhat lighter than stock.

the pump is great, it looks great too, i dont know the benifits over stock because i never drove my car with the leaky stock pump cause i put it on b4 i got my liscence, but i have to say it is grrreat, its always below 220 under normal and highway driving, the only times its ever on or slightly above 220 is when im stuck in traffic on the NJ tpk at exit 13 for a half hour with the clutch goin in and out the whole time and only going a distance of about 20 feet. and im running a 195 degree thermostat with the stock electric cooling fan. I highly reccomend this along with their TES headers.
