Cant fix drain kock plug

Cant fix drain kock plug

My darn cap fell off somehow driving down the road, so i came home really quick and went out and bought a GM/FORD drain **** plug thing.. but i cant for the life of me figure out howe to get it in.. do i have to get the old existing thing out or something? i catn get my car on a lift or dont have any jacks so i cant look from underneath, makes thigns kind of hard to do when you dont have the tools to do them..

anyhow my question was does anyone know how to fix this? im stumped i cant figure out how to get the old thing out or the new one in... any help would be gerat, thanks guys..

no one knows?? i did a search and couldnt figure it out.. ib ough thits part, and it wont go in anyway i try..

That is the correct part for the stock radiator on your car. However, if someone has done yours like they did mine. They replaced the radiator with one that had a brass drain ****. On mine they stuck the plastic one in a metal fitting and literally forced it in. Fortunately I found it during a water pump change and replaced the drain **** with the correct one.

That square piece snaps in.With some needle nose pliers.You should be able to Squeeze/pinch the the part of the square piece that stick out from your rad.The just push in the new piece with out the other piece.Afterwards just thread in the wing nut/plug piece.
