82 camaro, going from ac to ac delete, everything going smooth until, no hole in drivers side plenum. made a template to cut hole under dash. any body run in to this?

 

Yeah, except reverse of what you have encountered. I'm going convert my '83 from factory non-AC to AC. My car has the hole in the plenum with the air vent valve mounted to it. All the AC cars I used for parts had no hole cut like yours.

I'm debating whether to block the hole or leave the driver's air vent operational. I want the AC system and dash to appear stock, but I like the idea of having that extra air when I'm not using the AC.
