I just installed my new fan switch from hypertech, fan comes on at 200* and should turn off at 185*. What i noticed is that the fan isnt turning off, the temperature is just sitting at around 200*, and when i shut the car off i can pinch both of the radiator hoses together like theres no fluid in there, so could the thermostat be causing this? i believe its still the stock 195* one. I have a 180* just havent put it in yet cause i wanted to see what the new operating temp would be. Also would changing the fan switch and thermostat to a 180* require a new prom?
