Stock Temp guage dead

Just noticed it....its stuck on zero and wont move..

What are the 1st things to check?

When you turn the car on, does the gauge peg itself as a "self check" then drop to 0? Or is it just stuck at 0 all the time?

Check the connection to the sensor on the driver's side head. If the wire is not making contact the guage will peg at zero.

its stuck on zero and never checks..never moves.

When i replaced the plug wires on the drivers side i must have accidently pulle the wire...not sure what its suppose to look like or connect to...

There's a single green wire that would be floating over there somewhere. It connects to a little sensor screwed into the driver side cylinder head. It has a single male blade-type connection, so the green wire will have a single female reciever.
