Edelbrock water pump??

Does anyone use one of these? How were the results? A friend said something about them putting a strain on the heater core has anyone had or heard of this happening??

Edelbrock pumps work fine.

Not sure how anything could put a strain on the heater core as the heater core is nothing more than a device for heat transfer, working on the same theory as a radiator (hot coolant flows though, squirrel cage blows air through it, creating heat).
