not hot enough???

I just put my car back on the road and I noticed the temp gauge, isn't going as high as it should.... I am getting warm air from the vents.... Not really hot but warm.... I just drove the car for about an hour with no change to the gauge.... the gauge does move so I don't think it's that.....any help would be nice....

I'm thinking thermostate myself....but that's only a year old..
It has been parked all winter....just another point to mention

I would run it for a while. The coolant may have gunked up a bit, green coolant does not like to sit as opposed to the newer extended life ones. Give it a run at high speed and shake it up, the seals and engine will love it.

thermostat could still be bad. i've gotten new ones that did the same thing - stuck open. changed it out and good to go.
