Quick question, Condenser...Thanks

I am removing the AC and Condenser, and one tube on the condenser goes to that black cannister thing next to my battery...I provided a pic of it...can i just remove the tube from the cannister?....can i also remove the cannister and the entire tube length that leads up to the air box near the firwall? Thanks.

Link doesn't work, it says you have to sign in. I'm sure I can help, but I just want to make sure I understand what your referring to.

if it's the canister then its the reciever dryer, the evaporator is located in the firewall area closest to the vents inside the car. aside from discharging the a/c system you can just yank off all that crap no problem, but you will need either a shorter belt or a a/c delete pulley to run your serpentine. i think. well thats atleast how it was on my 92RS. and make sure you don't get the pag oil all over yourself when you take off the compressor like i did

ok... well as long as we are in agreement on the fact that it can come out

if you are removing the a/c tho, you want to pickup a heater only box

heater box?

why do you say i need a heater only box? Can't i just remove the AC and condenser and all the tubes and then just plug or cap off this hose/hole (see pic) Also, there is another hose that i capped off that connected to the black cannister thing...
