Before winter I flushed the radiator and put a 195 stat in it.The other day I had to floor it and the temp went to 220 real quick.This happen doing about 80.When I let off the gas,the temp went back to 195.I checked the coolant level and it was fine,and the air damn is still there.The airdamn is not pefect but is not tore up,just alittle bent.It has been like that a long time with no problems.Waterpump is not leaking,but I have not ruled that out yet.only does this when I punch it.Any ideas?
