Cooling fan not working
Hey guys, I know you get these questions all the time, but I couldn't find what I was looking for so I made a new thread.
heres what happend, I was in my 92 RS with the 305 TBI when I notice that the car was way too hot , so I stoped, let it cool down and put some more water in it. I figured it was just low on water. I got on the highway, everytyhing was going good, staying right aroud 220. but when I got back into town, I noticed it getting hot, thats when it dawned on me that my fan wasn't working.
From reading around, i've done some obvious stuff to try and fix it. It does not work when the A/C is on, and I've replaced the relay. Havn't got a chance to check the motor yet. Please help and give some suggestions what this could be.
thanks,
Kyle

Find the switch on the passenger side head. Between the #6 and #8 cyl. Remove the connector and run a wire to ground it. Then turn the key to the on position. The fan should kick in. just something else to check. Also check your connections at the fan.
You can also hot wire the fan to the battery. Just to see if it still works.
