AC Delete question

Hope this is the right board and not something that's been covered over and over.... so here's the deal, I've done the AC delete process, and today my non AC heater box came in the mail, is it a simple bolt-on/plug n play deal, or is there more to it?

should directly replace your old heater/evap box. only, this one won't have room for an evap core.

sounds good, there's no wiring difference tho, other than the plugs that came off the old AC hardware won't get plugged back in anywhere?

nope. if you wanted, you could even cut them off. it won't hurt anything. I would recommend you keep them, though, unless this is a race car, or there is no way you could sell it.

Where did you pick up your a/c delete heater box? Anyone know of a good place to order one off the Internet?

it is not a 100% bolt in install. If you want to keep the wiring the same then yopu will have to reuse your sensor that was on the A/C box and you will havew to reuse your blower motor. The A/C blower motor has 4 speeds and the non A/C ones only have 3. If you want the keep the 4 speed one then some modifications will need to be made to get it to work. The blower fan(hamster wheel) on the A/C motor is deeper then the non A/C one and it will rub against the firewall when you turn your heat one. You must move the motor outward about 1/2" . There is a tech article on it on this site somewhere.

but if i use the non-ac blower motor, will it still work, but only at 3 speeds? if that's the case, then that's fine with me.
