Radiator sensor

There is a sensor about halfway down on the radiator (passenger side). I don't know what it is for, and as I am trying to finish a new motor install, i can't find a wire with a connector like that to plug into it. It is a sensor that is screwed into the radiator, that has a single prong sticking out. please help.

not used for anything... that i know of. is it a stock or aftermarket? i have an aftermarket that has one. i suppose it's there for a "universal" application.

not gonna swear to an '87s wiring, but i've never seen anything like that before. even in the 85 i used to have. never seen a stock radiator with it, either. are you sure it's stock, as in the original owner? the only temp things i know of are the sending unit in the driver side head (for the gauge) and the cts in the front of the intake for the ecm...
