Plastic plug/screw bottom of radiator
Ok there is that black plastic plug or screw on the passenger side bottom of the radiator, towards the back of the car. I flushed my coolant and used that to drain the coolant. I was able to loosen it easily with my fingers, and retightened it as tight as i could in that space by hand. was this a bad idea?? should it stay partially loose?
i put everything back together, new coolant and all, and the engine feels plenty warmed up, and the hoses feel like they are under a lot of preasure. i can hardly squeeze the large hose feeding the radiator.
is it possible that screwing that plastic screw too far blocked off coolant flow??
thanks a lot if anyone knows

i did get a new cap, 16psi.
if i connect 12 volts to the single green wire going to the temp sensor for the guage, on driver side head, wont the guage go all the way up?? i put 12 volts on it and nothing happens :\
i put in a new temp sender too
i can swueeze the large hose a little now, and it sounds like there is still air inside, will this make anything wacky?

nevermind about this, sorry for the wasted post. i was imagining the wrong thing in my head when i was thinking about tightening that screw, its got nothing to do with the flow. and i let the engine get to about 220 and then it dropped, must of dropped when coolant displaced the air completely.
