Flushed cooling system 8 times....still brown and rusty!!!

I'm about to take it to a shop and have them mess with it, because this is rediculous!!!!

I just back-flushed it for the 8th time just now, went for a drive and guess what? The coolant is rusty brown again. I don't get it. Where is this **** hiding? I've jammed the hose into the resevoir to have it pump out the brown, jammed it in the radiator to pump out the brown, and jammed it into the Prestone Back flush connector to then go through the engine and pump out the brown, but to still now avail.

Am I crazy or will this stuff never come out? It's not giving me a whole lot of trust that a shop who makes money off of multiple Power Flushes will get it done, but I'm sick of this? Should I keep doing what I'm doing, or will a professional flush do it?

Well I just got back home from driving and I checked the fluid again. Obsesse much? YES!!! And to my extreme surprise the coolant was clear!!! I hope, I HOPE, I HOPE HOPE HOPE, it stays this way. I don't want to spend 8 hours in my car next week changing out a suspected heater core that might be rusty. I HOPE!!!!!

PLEASE ***!!!!????

Even if it comes back... Just keep doing it, I know it sucks, but you'll get there after a couple weekends. lol

I took the thermostat housing off my 65 Fury and flushed it through the motor that way, worked pretty good.

Still took about an hour or two of constant flushing to get satisfactory, then when I drove it... More rust...

I'll just flush it every weekend until it's clear, making sure to have rust preventive in it always.
