overheating

i had to replace my head gaskets, while doing so I broke the cooling switch sensor, and the boot that connected it. I bought a new switch, and now the fan isnt kicking on when the car gets hot. The fan will turn on though when i turn on the a/c. Checked all the fuses, replaced the fan motor, and thermostat. I am running out of options. Any help will be greatly appriciated.
Thanks.

If you are talking of the fan switch it grounds the circut when the temperature reaches a preset point. Perhaps you missed a connection somewhere?

Sounds like a bad fan relay... Its location is next to your matser cylinder looks like a small black box. there is more than one relay in that area, I believe it's on the driver side.

If it is the relay isn't that located on the passenger's side of the radiator? I see two locations for it, the one CONVZ28 mentioned and the one I mentioned maybe someone can straighten it out.

cooling fan switch

The my auto parts dealer gave me was a standard ts 147
I beleive. but it turns on at 220 + this may be a secondary switch for a tpi set up. Can some one tell me what the propper part # is for the correct fan switch is. Mine use to kick on a 210 about and shut off at 190 or 180 it doesn't even come on now
I have to leave the ac on all the time.......
