dripping noise?

i JUST repalced one of my heater hoses cuz ther was a leak back in that area (see thread) and the hose had yellow coolant stain on it.

i then replaced my radiator cuz the thermostat stuck and it blew the endtank before the cap.

i today repalced my lower rad hose (with the new rad) and filled everything up...

now i have a little tink...tink....tink...tink noise but i dont use the a/c in my car? there no drips under the car cuz i spent like 10 mins looking.

when the heater hose leaked it profusely poured out of a small pinhole. and hit the headers and such.

any ideas? its like.. coming from the engine bay. lol...

Could be any number of things, drive it and watch the coolant level close. Noise may go away after the engine heats up a couple times.

is it only after you drive it and you turn it off when its warmed up? its probably the exhaust contracting and it makes a tinging or a plinking sound

i cant imagine youd hear a drop of liquid in an engine bay, it doesnt have too far to fall and anything it hits would be solid and wouldnt make a noise. if you have a hard floor to dripping drips of water on to it like concrete in your garage, i bet you wouldnt notice the sound of the drop even if you dropped it from 12 feet

That is most likely your exhaust contracting as it cools, mine does it too.
