Cooling Fans Out
Hi Guys,
I have a 1992 vert. Both of my fans are not working. Here is what I have done so far. I have changed both relays and tested them before installiing. I checked the plugs for ignition with the key and i get 12v. checked for the ground from the sensor and i get it at 230 degrees. I even straight wired both fans at the plug and they both come on. What I am not getting is the constant 12v hot from the big gauge orange wires at the plug. I checked the fan fuse in the fuse box and the fuse is good. Should I assume that the constant wiring is shorted and make my own up?Or is there another fuse or link involved in this circuit that could be bad. Any light on this problem is greatly appreciated

Got photos of the relay and link? I'm a bit of a novice on the TPI but have had my car for a number of years...but the cost of mechanic attention for the number of issues I have has left me to try more on my own. Getting a GM manual has been daunting as I own an 89 that has literature in demand.
I did spot a relay on the pass. side up near the radiator, I think
I've been told NAPA has two avail for mine, one at $20, the other at $50, and no refunds so I need to get the right one up front
