I have A 92 rs camaro 305 and have the same problem, the car runs hot. probly because I live right now where the temp is 105 to 112. would A bigger raditor and a 180 therm. I have a 195 in right now.

Can you quantify the term "hot" so that we can understand your expectations? To some, 190° is "hot" while others don't consider the coolant "hot" until it reaches about 235°F.

well how about over 220 and 230 is that hot? Would it be better with a 180 therastat?

overheating

hi i have a supercharged 86 z28 iroc camaro and im having problems with my car overheating... i put double fans new belts 160 thermostat and still it run really hot.. 220-260 mostly... i try to keep the supercharger out of use but it still runs hot .. any help would be great

Expanding on what Vader was getting at, at what time during engine operation does it get hot? Is it only initially (before the thermostat opens up for the first time)? Is it constantly? Stop and go? What?

yes during stop and go. I have a 195 therm. would it be better off with a 180?
