stock guage says im about to overheat...

stock guage says im about to overheat...

as the title says, the stock guage says im about to over heat onthe white line before red, but the diacom-p software says the coolant temp is 208. which one should i trust?

I would trust software. Keep in mind the sender for the gauge is installed in the cylinder head, so it is subject to heat emitted by the exhaust system.

I have my temp gauge installed in my intake for mroe reliable readings.
