almost overheatin
well i got a new thermostat and did a rad flush..still overheated
then i added a rad air damn under the rad suport..helped alil..but if you drive an extra 20 mins its extremely hot again
i dont have a lower fan shroud would this be the problem?
on my tach it read 125 which is the red zone..so any ideas..i dont wanna put in an electric fan...cause shouldnt a clutch fan cool it off enough?

that must be in c* cause 125 f isnt even operating temp for our cars. and yes if you have no lower air dam get one cause thats the only thing to direct air up to the radiator and w/ out it u will over heat quick, and if it gets to hot u could warp a head.

Yes, its celcius becuase he's from canada.
He said lower fan shroud, and said how he replaced the air dam so thats not the issue.
I'd check for air bubbles in the system, feel around the radiator and make sure its all warm (check to see if its flowing well). Flush and fill the system, try water wetter. I'd say if your engine is anything over stock you'll need electric fans. How fast are you driving when you overheat? Once you hit 50mph or so the fans do nothing.

i got the 305 h.o engine if that might give an idea of what it usually runs at

I could.
The shroud "forces" the air to be drawm through the radiator from the front of the car. If the shroud is missing, air can be pulled from the sides (Path of least resistance) causing less air to pass the radiator, causing overheat
