Cooling fans not running

I have an 88 305 tpi, the cooling fan will not turn on. they will work if you bypass the relay so I installed new relays and still nothing, is there another sensor I should be looking for?

Transmission: WC t-5

check the wire that operates the relay for corrosion and stuff. you can find the wires location in just about any wiring schematic
