Need Help On My A/c!!!

Ok I have had no A/C since I bought the car (A/C works but doesn't come out the vents). Well today I got a hair up my *** and decided to work on it a little bit and I somehow got the top vent to work (the one for defrosting your windshield), the little ones on the center console blow out very little air, and the foot vents, that I had no clue that I had lol blow out a little bit of air.

So my question you all my fellow Thirdgeners is why wont my other vents work??? Any help/advice/guesses would be wonderful.

I didn't care about my A/C before but after getting it working a little I want it all to work (don't like to start something and not finish it lol). Oh and BTW I checked everything on the HVAC controller, that I know of...

Thanks I know somebody will help me... atleast I hope.

vacuum line? there is a line that gives the control head vacuum which allows it to operate the mode door, if its off it will default to defrost only.

Its deffinitely a vacuum issue. Check all of your connections. Thats pretty much all of the advice I can give. You have a leak somewhere, the offending vacuum line is usually near the firewall.

Hey I got my A/C to work last night, I had to turn the car on to make the compresser spin to make it work. It was a leak right at the vacuum switch. Thanks alot guys.
