I was just wondering if the stock rad used in 4 cylinder 3rd gens is sufficient for a v8 swap?

when i get one for my 82's i am getting copper brass and putting on a stock factory solid fan, make sure i get all the air through the radiator as possible, and build a custom shroud out of aluminum, box it in good around the radiator and fan blades, least amount of gaps as possible to make all the air have to come through the radiator

keep it form overheating at lower speeds for sure then

good luck

Actually, believe it or not, the radiator is the same for 4cyl and v8, but different
for a v6. Modine p/n: 951.

You're saying I can use my stock rad? If so, that would help save a little money on the project.

According to both Modine and Visteon, both major manufacturers, they are
one and the same.
