I was driving back to school yesterday and about 10 minutes before I got here I smelled the burning antifreeze smell ( disgusting I know) well I thought it was someone else but I parked and noticed the white smoke coming from under my hood. Anywayz I am 80% positive its that heater valve. My mechanic replaced it less than a month ago. Is it "normal" to have it fail this soon sometimes? ( I read a lot of past posts saying they are very faulty) Also it seems to be coming from right under where the vacuum line connects. What are some of the common points that coolant leaks through? Pictures would be GREAT. thanks again -Chris

 

Have you even looked for leaks yet....
