Im running the stock radiator and the stock daul fans the problem is when the car sits with the fans on and Idles for around10 minutes or in a slow cruise less then 10mph the tempature creeps up on 230 what can I do to cruise at 10mph and keep the tempature down the big block is mild with 8.75 to 1 compression and small cam it is a gm performance parts crate 454 rated at 425hp.

Hi,

If you have checked the usual culprits, Thermostat, WP, ect,

and overheats with both fans running at idle it probably is

going to need a bigger radiator. Had a 427 L88 in a 2nd Gen,

( Different setup I know) and had to go to a four core truck Rad

for the street to keep it cooled down. But Radiators today have

gotten more efficient for thier size.

I'd say bigger Rad.
