Power sterring cooler?

I have this tube that runs under my radator that is connected between the power sterring box and pump. Is that a cooler or something else? It has no type of cooling fins on it. And i can't find anything that states that it was a factory option. Do anyone else have this on there car?

Yeah, its stock and its for power steering cooling. Some autocross 3rd genners have had problems with overheating, but most of us don't have our cars high revving for very long so we don't usually see a problem.

Yeah, my car has one of those. It's like a little loop that runs across the car and back. It provides a little cooling to the PS oil. Look at and smell your ps pol. If it's real dark or smells burned, just change it.

Exactly, I had the car for five years, droped a motor in there and never really payed attention to that. I seen ps coolers on the 4th gen ws6 f-bodies but never heard about them on the 3rd gens. I love f-bodies everything about them says functional.
