spring in lower radiator hose?...

Axle/Gears: 3.23...i dunno...
spring in lower radiator hose?...

was i supposed to somehow take the spring out of the lower radiator hose and put it in the new one before switching them? cause if i was...

The spring was there to prevent the hose from collapsing. It seems, however, IIRC, that the new hoses don't require the spring.
