Temp Guage Upgrade Question

Temp Guage Upgrade Question
Hi All
Ive just bought i new temp guage (digital) ive wired in the power suply just connecting it to the temp sensor has got me confused the new guage has only one wire to connect to the temp sensor, but the temp sensor on the car was two wires, which one do i use or do i use both? i got a manual but its no help and this is the last thing i need to do before i can drive the car PLEASE ANYONE HELP

First off you need to make sure the gauge you got is compatible with the sensor in your car. It may need a different sensor. Thats something the manufacturer can help you with. One of the wires on the sensor is a ground. That you need to run to a ground. The other wire goes to the gauge.
