air dam
does any body know the gm part# for the 3piece airdam for 89trans am?local gm can not seem to figure it out.

The part numbers look like they are:
10118482 - lower RH
10118483 - lower LH
10118484 - lower (W62)
10118485 - lower (exc. W62)
But I can't tell you if they are available or not. You might also want to try Hawks if you can't get them from the dealer.

Or you can try making your own. Mine fell off ... where it went I don't know .. so I made a 10 minute metal work cut and drill air dam .. unfortunately a bit too short and not braced enough, it's actually bent backwards now
Thing is, I personally believe at least the Camaro air dams are simply too tall, they stick out too far down, which is why they get "lost" so often.
I still haven't reinstalled the "scoop" thing that goes before the air dam, previous owner broke that one off.

Yeah, I would never pay 100 for one of those. I got mine for ~$25 at my local Chevy dealership parts counter. Got it the very next day. No shipping charge either!
